Rafael Martinez DeSanzo
Buenos Aires Program Director
Rafael Martinez De Sanzo, holds degrees from the University of Buenos Aires and Georgetown University Law School. An advisor on foreign investments for the Argentine mission to the organization of American States and Argentine Deputy Consul in Los Angeles. He taught the Legal Environment of International Business at Pepperdine University before returning to Argentina.

María Susana Battisti
Associate Director
Maria Susana Battisti, organizes internships and service-learning opportunities as well as promoting other inter- actions with argentines. Born in Villa Maria, Cordoba province, she graduated with a law degree from the Universidad del Salvador in 1975 and became a Notary Public in 1976. Currently she is writing doctorathesis on “Judicial Science” at the Universidad Catolica Argentina (UCA). She has tought “Spacial Commercial Contracts” and “Commercial law” at UCA and is an associate of the Michelson Law Office.Married with five Children, one Grand-daughter and Expeting a new life grandson. She loves family life and, sometimes, plays golf.

Maria Schwartz
Program Coordinator
Maria Schwartz, was born in Queens, New York and soon after moved to Buenos Aires. She studied Hotel Administration and worked in the marketing division of UNISYS for several years. Maria started working for Pepperdine in 2003, she loves swimming, running and traveling.

Alejandro Bialy
Program Coordinator
Alejandro “Abuelo” Bialy, was born in Guildfor England, married with two children. He studied accounting for three years, and worked as an accountant in an administrative office.

Patricia Ribeiro
Program Assistant
Patricia Ribeiro, was born in BeunosAires to a Brazilian father and argetine mother. Patricia studied publishing and worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines. She started working for Pepperdine in 2007, she loves traveling, arts and photography.

Marco Córdova
Maintenance
Marco Córdova is responsible for the care and maintenance of Casa Pepperdine. He also preside as “Master of the Asado” and enjoys practicing his English with Pepperdine Students.
